I used ranch dressing but you can use any salad dressing of your choice – cilantro dressing, Italian vinaigrette….

Who doesn’t love Pizza. A foolproof recipe for pizza base which contains both all purpose flour and whole wheat flour. Researched and tried many recipes for creating a pizza base and finally this is it, so sharing. Tomato, basil and lemongrass soup!

Aromatic, flavorful soup with great health perks.

  • Ginger, garlic provide antioxidants
  • Lemongrass is used for treating digestive tract spasms, stomachache, high blood pressure, convulsions, pain, vomiting, cough, achy joints (rheumatism), fever, the common cold, and exhaustion.

Depending on the processing power of your blender, you might have the need to run the soup through a sieve and that is why my recommendation always is to invest in kitchen tools if you love to cook. I love using Vitamix because it makes the soup creamier without adding milk and also you don’t have to strain it as well. Watch the recipe video below:

Resolution Salad!!

Happy New Year to everyone!

Most of us make resolutions for the new year for a healthy nutritious diet which embodies the goodness of veggies, looks colorful and tastes great and also matches your diet plan so I thought what better name than a Resolution salad for this January 1st recipe!

I used quinoa in this recipe which I flavored slightly with cumin powder but feel free to try this with brown rice or couscous. If you want to see how I cooked quinoa, please see the recipe at this link where I showed how to cook quinoa perfectly(just skip the veggies added in it).
