Breakfast Yogurt Parfait

American parfait style – ideal for a healthy breakfast. It is all about layering with different ingredients. You can use any fruit – apples, banana, peaches, grapes and dried fruits as well such as raisins, cranberries.

I usually use naturally flavored organic yogurt such as strawberry, orange cream, blueberry. If you don’t have it, you can use Greek yogurt or hung curd and mix in 1/2 tsp pure vanilla essence and some brown sugar.

Ingredients:

  • Naturally flavored yogurt – in this case it is strawberry
  • 1 small apple cut into small pieces
  • 3-4 walnuts chopped into small pieces
  • 3-4 large organic strawberries cut into small pieces
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Granola – I used the one with flax seed and pumpkin seeds – 3 tbsp
